Man Builds a 3 Foot Tall Cell Phone That Works

Mr. Tan from Songyuan China, has built a huge working cell phone that weighs 3 pounds and is 3 feet tall.

Mr. Tan said it makes and receives calls and text messages, it also takes photos and has internet access, although he stated that it does not have a vibration function.

Telling the City Evening News that it took 1 1/2 years to constuct. He went on to say, "Many friends worried I couldn't finish it, and only my father encouraged me to continue." "The neighbours were always knocking on my door asking what was going on with all the noise from the apartment, and even my wife was complaining."
